Keri Hilson rocked braids to the premiere of Universal Pictures’ Riddick in Westwood, Calif. on Wednesday. The singer makes her acting debut alongside Vin Diesel in the sci-fi film, which opens in theaters September 6.
“Working with Vin was a dream come true,” said Keri. “He wears many hats. He’s just every bit of a genius you would expect him to be, but more.”
The “Pretty Girl Rock” hitmaker has been in the studio working on her third album with Timbaland and Polow Da Don.
“I didn’t want to lose the fans that do love what I have done in the past, but there is growth that has happened,” she said of the follow-up to 2010′s No Boys Allowed. “I’m all about blending the worlds of pop and hip-hop and R&B all in a pot.”
On Nov. 15, Chris Brown signed to Wilhelmina Models’ Artist Management division to facilitate “fashion and beauty endorsement, editorial and licensing opportunities.”
Brown issued a statement:
“Art and style has always played a significant role in my life – it’s evolved with me throughout my career. I’m so happy to join the Wilhelmina team, which has countless successes in the industry, to explore this new avenue.”
Wilhelmina also released a statement:
