After a two and a half year journey, the Rise Africa team is ending one phase, only to begin another. On October 2nd, 2014 @6:00 PM ET we will launch our new and improved platform, (Read the backstory behind Ezibota and its development.)
We would like to thank all of you, our readers, contributors, supporters, and everyone inbetween, for the amount of love and support that we received throughout our time as Rise Africa. With the encouragement we continuously receive from our audience, we have no option but to get bigger and better, challenging ourselves to develop a more interactive and honest safe space for Africans and people of African ancestry to confidently share their stories. Holding steadfast to our vision of a connected and empowered global African community, we are excited to position as the central location for young Africans looking to connect with their identity, heritage, and one another.
As we close this chapter and begin another, we continue to use our webspace and platform to enrich the lives of our everyone who belongs to our community. To become an official member of our new community, We have so much in store for you. Goodbye for now, we’ll see you soon.
